ABOUT THE ARTIST

Geoffroy Pithon (b. 1988) is a French multidisciplinary artist based in Nantes. His work sits between art and design, mixing bold graphic experiments with new ways of expression. He creates large abstract paper installations that immerse viewers in colorful worlds inspired by plants, animals, jungles, and underwater life.

Geoffroy’s approach is spontaneous and intuitive. He doesn’t follow strict plans or predefined subjects. Instead, he cuts, rearranges, and reuses fragments of his own paintings to build new compositions. The result is raw and dynamic, where every gesture and movement remains visible.

For him, paper is a living material that captures energy and emotion. His abstract forms and flowing lines speak directly to the senses, while small figurative windows occasionally bring us back to reality. His work balances between pure abstraction and our natural instinct to find meaning in shapes.
