Paul William, a Paris-born Franco-Egyptian gallerist, co-founded Nil Gallery in the Marais district of Paris at the age of 25, focusing on West African artists, particularly from Ghana and the Ivory Coast. In February 2023, he established Maát Gallery, also located in Le Marais, aiming to broaden the artistic scope to include Latin American artists.
