What is Wonkaā Éditions?

WONKAĀ Éditions, initiated by Paul William – co-founder of Nil Gallery (2016) and founder of MAĀT Gallery (2023) in Paris – reimagines access to contemporary art. Its ambition is simple: to make collecting less intimidating and more engaging, while offering a unique experience for first-time collectors.

Positioned as an open gateway to art, WONKAĀ Éditions stands in contrast with the often codified and exclusive world of traditional galleries.

A SIMPLE AND EXCITING CONCEPT

An artist creates an original artwork.

From this original, a premium edition of 100 signed and numbered silkscreen prints is produced.

One collector, selected by draw, receives the original artwork.

Each purchase offers both a high-quality edition and a one-in-a-hundred chance of winning the “golden ticket”, granting access to the original artwork itself.

FOR WHOM?

WONKAĀ Éditions addresses a wide audience:

New collectors beginning their journey; informed enthusiasts expanding their collections; experienced collectors drawn to innovation.

A GROWING COMMUNITY

At an accessible price point, the model allows everyone to engage with contemporary art while multiplying exposure for artists: 100 collectors become ambassadors of their artwork.

Beyond acquisition, WONKAĀ Éditions fosters connections between artists and collectors. Meetings with artists, invitations to openings, and access to exclusive content aim to build a vibrant and engaged community.

A FAIR AND SUSTAINABLE MODEL

From 2026, each edition will include a blockchain-based certificate of authenticity.

A percentage of all resales will be automatically redistributed to the artist, ensuring fair compensation over time on the secondary market.
